The founders have always had pets in their lives, and that devotion only grew as they started families of their own. What really sparked the creation of Waggamuffin, though, was something many of us can relate to—a growing concern about what goes into our pets’ food.

After reading articles about the chemicals and additives found in some commercial pet products, they knew they had to make a change. That change became their mission: to provide healthier, more natural options for pets.

They started with 100% natural, New Zealand-made dehydrated treats for dogs and cats. Since then, their range has expanded to include raw frozen food and premium kibble. They believe pets, like people, benefit from a varied diet. That means raw food for vital nutrients, bones and chews to keep teeth clean and strong, and, of course, a good treat every now and then.

When I visited the stall, I was lucky enough to meet some of their four-legged fans—Leah, Koda, and Rooster. Each furry friend made a beeline for the treats and clearly loved the stall.

You can find Waggamuffin Pet Supplies at their permanent stall at the Catalina Bay Farmers Market, where they continue to share their passion with fellow animal lovers.

Waggamuffin isn’t just about pet food—it’s about giving pets the healthy, happy lives they deserve.

<figure class="wp-block-image
